No, you don't need purification tablets to top off while using any of the following Survivor Filter products:

• SURVIVOR FILTER PRO™ Portable Water Filter Pump
• SURVIVOR FILTER™ PRO X Electric Water Filter
• SURVIVOR FILTER™ Cleanable Water Filter Straw

When third party labs tested against the average size virus, Phi-X174 bacteriophage that is .025 microns in width and all three filters blocks the contaminant. We also have 99.999% (log 5) reduction for the tested Virus, Protozoa, Staph and Bacteria. Furthermore, the Carbon Filter element allows the filter systems to remove most chemicals and metals from the water.
